The White Sheep

The White Sheep features 5 friends filmed on super 8, spur-of the moment dances and conversations filmed in locations they have a long and happy association with. Inspired by their gestures and presence, I create a live response, telling anecdotes that are a backdrop to these landscapes of memory and attachment. Woven into this are my own stories of 1970s London suburbia, reflections on beacons of light in the inner city and distant hills, a love of intense colour, contrast, syncopation and oddly beautiful things.

The White Sheep is in development at Clarence Mews Space in Hackney and Pen Pynfarch in West Wales.
